Orphan Black: Season 3

Orphan Black: Season 3
Posted on July 1, 2015 by James Shults

First Aired: April 18, 2015

Creator: Graeme Manson, John Fawcett

Overall Rating: Good

In the third season of Orphan Black, the clones (portrayed by Tatiana Maslany) search out the origin of the Castor clones.

The Good

As usual, Tatiana Maslany is the best thing Orphan Black has going for it. This show knows how to use its main actor who plays most of the characters on screen. What’s truly masterful, is how you forget that she’s playing most of the characters. How does the World not know about Tatiana Maslany? It will!

The Bad

The story behind Orphan Black never seemed big enough in its first season to be able to expand into multiple seasons. They’ve managed to stretch the story out reasonably well. You get the feeling, however, that if the creators had known it was going to be a success then maybe they would have written Orphan Black into a larger story from the start.

The Ugly

This show is bananas! Plain and simple, Orphan Black is absolutely bananas in the best possible way.  But this isn’t a show you can just jump into. You have to start at season one, episode 1, otherwise this show will seem bananas in the worst possible way.
